OAC GRANT
Oklahoma Arts Council Grant to help sponsor entertainment
September 22, 2022
With the help of a $2500 grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council, the 47th Annual Sorghum Festival will feature live music from local bands. Each year the festival hosts a variety of musicians that specialize in different genres of music. This helps to promote the festival, entertain our guests, and also expose visitors to the assortment of unique sounds that make up our great state of Oklahoma.
This year’s lineup of entertainment consists of The Switch, Everfade, Ben Yahola, Ginger and the Professor, Gary Medlock, Shawna Russell Band, and this year’s Parade Marshall Pake McEntire!
Stages will be set up from the Seminole Nation Museum grounds to the North End of Wewoka Avenue, to ensure all of our guests get the most of their visit no matter where they may be. We hope everyone enjoys the Annual Sorghum Festival in 2022, and are grateful for the opportunities this grant has given the community of Wewoka.
